Research On Strategy And Technology Of Large Scale Pumping Station Technique Improvement

Hydraulic department once carried out a typical research to large and middle scale pumping stations from 14 provinces (incl. autonomy districts) and general investigation from 32 provinces (incl. autonomy districts and municipalities) in 2003. However, the result manifested very negative condition of the pumping station, such as low level of building standard, serious aging and heavy burden of these stations etc. Technique improvement is urgently needed to large quantities of pumping station in our country.Technique improvement of large scale pumping station is an integrated and systematic project. Firstly, before improvement, comprehensive investigation needs to be done on pumping station hydrology and water resources, as well as overall check on pumping station design parameter and technical index, in order to adapt for new condition. Based on this work, specialists do model experiment and test on site, to analyze the pumping station technical condition. Then technique improvement can be carried out to those parts, which need to be improved, in pump, electric motor, dynamic transmission device, inlet and outlet penstock (channel), inlet and outlet building, to ensure the efficiency of pumping station.It is suggested that improvement strategy and technique is a very important part in the technique improvement of large scale pumping station. Strategy of large scale pumping station technique improvement mainly includes improvement on pump, electric motor, dynamic transmission device, inlet and outlet penstock (channel), inlet and outlet building etc. As a result, the effect of pumping station technique improvement depends on improvements on these devices.Meanwhile, as an indispensable technical part of this progress, model experiment on pumping station also has great effect. Model designing and experiment is carried out according to the real situation and purpose of pumping station technique improvement, in order to research properly and make the strategy and technique method. Besides, model experiment is also needed in order to develop new technique for large scale pump and pumping station.This thesis mainly focuses on technique improvement strategy and model experiment technique of pumping station, then combining with Shangqiao pumping station strengthening and improvement project, further analyses the specific method of large scale pumping station technique improvement, and summarizes rule to serve as a reference.
