Our country is a large agricultural nation with big water conservancy, which plays a decisive role in national economic development. Rural irrigation pumping station plays an important role in field irrigation. Most irrigation stations were built in remote areas, where manage and maintenance are not conducive to get. At present, many of the centralized pumping station are still in a relatively backward state,and operated at low efficiency, mainly rely on manual operationand the operation procedures, has low degree of automation. Low reliability, the labor intensity of workers, serious waste of resources and other defects, do not fit the need of modern development,especially in our country broad and mountainous areas, because of the geographical restrictions, pumping stations and water are separated by distance, increasing the monitoring difficulty.In order to achieve automatic control of irrigation stations, improve its availability, monitoring and maintenance efficiency, Agriculture Department of Sichuan Provincial plans to installed wireless control terminal (pumping station terminal) in30typical electromechanical irrigation pumping stations which are inside the range of six key counties in rural irrigation. As demonstration, this can help realize automation and remote control of pumping stations,including information transformation.The informationlize of pumping station should be built on social needs assessment survey,and the actual situation of pumping station.Design of the control system can be divided into three parts,the wireless control terminalrural of irrigation pumping station, management center (irrigation Data Platform) and mobile management client.In this paper, wireless control terminal (pumping station terminal)of rural irrigation pumping station is the main object of the study,which is designed based on GSM remote monitoring system and micro computer unit of ARM7.the control system use GSM module to transmit field data between PC and thepumping station terminal. The pumping station terminal own the functions of communication, measurement and control, recording, and unattended.Pumping station terminal is the main equipment of site control system.using LPC2132based on core ARM7as the micro computer unit, which is embedded integrated UART serial, analog multi-channel AD acquisition interface, RTC real time clock, I2C interfaces, etc. By designing appropriate hardware circuit detects the temperature, pressure, level, current, voltage and other parameters of the pumping station in real time. the built-in real time clock can support remote timing and local timing, this can help pumping station report data automatically according to the stipulated time. through the serial port communications, GSM remote communication system can upgrade, modify or add functionality. The built-in high-capacity FLASH memory, automatically record data off the network, automatic heartbeat, real-time monitoring of network connections, power up and dropped automatically redial. built-Watchdog, reboot and so on. Application of the jamming technology makes the system more stable and reliable.Rely on the existing conditions of laboratory and pumping station, system testing can be done. According to the test, pumping station terminal can achieved the function of remote control, job status real-time query, burglar alarm with low cost and high reliability, which are conducive to the management and maintenance of irrigation pumping stations.
