Seeding is one of the most important processes of agriculture production, the performance of drill affects the seeding quality and harvest directly. When the mechanical transmission is failured, sowing box is empty, colter is built up by clod and so on, will cause one or more lines can't work normally by the precision drill, consequently lead to miss-seeding. Especially for the large-scale precision drill, its work speed is high and the sowing range is large, it will lead to large area miss- seeding once the above phenomenon is took place, result in serious loss in agriculture manufacture to a certainty.Seeding monitoring system is an important component of present precision drill and its function directly affects the quality of precision seeding. There are different demands to the different performances, and its parameters are widely covered with. At present the seeding monitoring system researched in domestic only to solve the miss-seeding and rebroadcast, At present the monitoring and alarm equipment adopt in precision drill are mechanical alarm, mechanical and electronical style alarm, electronical apparatus style control system. The monitoring system of this paper can comprehensively test precision seeding performance parameters automatically. Including seed-rate, sowing speed, inter-plant spacing and sowing area, So the monitoring system is designed based on control techniques of MCU and automatic control theory in this paper.The paper analyzes the scheme of the monitoring system firstly, and proposes that the seedmeter is controlled by stepper motor. According to the requests of the monitoring system, the hardware system is designed. Its main contents include the design of the circuit of sensors's testing, the design of alarm setting, expands the MCU and the circuit design, the design of display circuit, the design of D/A transformation circuit and so on.The programs are designed with C in separate programmer modules. Due to the hardware functions, the system can be divided into four function models, the model of sensors'testing circuit signal acquisition, the model of parameters display, the model of audio and light alarm circuit control, the model of output control. Finally, the anti-interfering methods are adopted from hardware and software to the usual interfering resource.This paper suggests the seedmeter is controlled by stepper motor. This study plays an important role to increase the automatization of drill, productivity, and to impulse China's economic development.
