Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute belongs to Polygonatum, Liliaceae.which is our traditional beneficial Chinese herbal medicine. It has good exploitation prospect in medicine, food industry fields. So the research of Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute causes concerns among a lot of scholars, but there was no public reports on the pests studies of Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute and the pests control. The research integrate field system investigation with indoor experiment, the author has studied on four key problems including arthropod community composition, the occurrence and control technique of main pests, and analysis of pesticide residue in Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute . Carrying out this research in order to apply the basis and theory of pests control work and GAP cultivation. The studies results mainly as follows:1. There were 62 species of insects that belongs to 2 class,11 order and 48 family in fields of Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute in Han zhong area.Phytophages have 43 species belonging to 32 family; Predators have 16 species belonging to 13 family; Parasitoids have3species belonging to 3 family.2. Soil-dwelling pests to damage Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute rhizome contain Agrotis ypsilon (Hufnagel),Holotrichia oblita (Faldermann). The pests (or mites) to damage the Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute aerial parts mainly contain: Tetranychus urticae Koch, Tetranychus viennenis Zacher, Aphids and so on. At preliminary checkinging out the main pests'damage way and occurrence. Initially finding out Tetranychus urticae Koch and Tetranychus viennenis Zacher have damage to Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute.3. Indoor experiments verified that toxicity order of the applied pesticide to Tetranychus urticae Koch is abamectin >imidacloprid> pyridaben>pyriaben > phoxim; to Tetranychus viennenis Zacher is abamectin> imidacloprid>pyridaben> phoxim >pyriaben; to Aphids is acetamiprid>imidacloprid> lambda-cyhalothrin> phoxim.4. 1.8% acetamiprid EC 5000×and 15% pyridaben EC 2000×have good effects to Tetranychus urticae Koch; 10% imidacloprid WP 2000×, 1.8% acetamiprid EC 5000×and 15% pyridaben EC 2000×have good effects to Tetranychus viennenis Zacher; 3% acetamiprid EC 2000~3000×, 10% imidacloprid WP 2000~4000×have good effects to Aphids; Suggested using 48% chlorpyrifos EC 60mL/667m~2 spary or mixes the poisonous sand with15% chlorpyrifos GR 0.75kg/667m~2 in front of the Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute.field planting. Controlled white grubs by mixes the poisonous sand with15% chlorpyrifos GR 0.75kg/667m~2 have good effects in the growth of Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute.5. Two fast examination method were established to detect residue of acetamiprid and pyridaben in Polygonatum sibiricum Redoute. Test the residual dynamics and finally residual experiments. The results showed that the amount of the two pesticides'remnant were lower than the national standard of maximal limmit.
