Observation Of Therapeutic Effects Of Lavage Extractant From Jiedu Huayu Decoction On Rat Chronic Osteomyelitis

In order to observe the therapeutic effects of extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction on lavaging chronic osteomyelitis of rat models, tnodeled chronic osteomyelitis SD rats were devided randomly into 3 groups: extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction group(JH group), antiseptic solution group(AS group) and normal saline group(NS group). All were lavaged for 1 month. The comparative observations of model animals were taken through blood leukocyte count, serum lusozyme activity, bone X rays(roentgenography) and histopathology manifestation at the fixed time. The results indicated that great significant contrast was found between the results of extractant from JH group and those of NS group(P<0.01). Contrasted the results of JH group with those of AS group, differences were made clear in respects of serum lusozyme activity and bone X rays(P<0.05). The conclusions that extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction preventing effectly chronic osteomyelitis deterioration may be related to its improving the organism immune function were achieved.After 54 SD rats were anaesthetized by injectio ketamini hydrochloridi, Solution of staphylococcus aureus with recovered toxicity and 5% SM(Sodium Morrhuate) were injected into rats' tibias. 36 modeled SD rats which chronic osteomyelitis were confirmed by X rays after 4weeks and which lavage operations were done were devided randomly into 3 groups. Every rat was lavaged by extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction or antiseptic solution or normal saline according to diferent groups for 1 month. The comparative observations of model animals were taken through blood leukocyte count, serum lusozyme activity, bone X rays and histopathology manifestation at the fixed time. The results indicated that blood leukocyte count of NS group descended gradually while those of the other groups were higher than before. Great significant contrasts were found. Blood leukocyte count of JH group was higher than those of control groups on the 30th day. At the same time same result was found in the respect of serum lusozyme activity. Smoother bone external form and more regular bone context were found by bone X rays comparatation at the closing date, hi the respect of pathological histology fiber repair was more rapid in JH group.All these results showed that extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction preventing effectly chronic osteomyelitis deterioration may be related to its improving the organism immune function. This therapeutic method of lavage by extractant from Jiedu Huayu decoction can quiken the granulation tissue proliferation, improve circulation of the wound area, enhance emigration and chemotaxis of phagocytes meanwhile it is advantageous to repairing bone structure and evading imflammation.
