Objective: To study the effect of twirling, lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point on talipes varus due to cerebral infarction.Methods: In this study, twirling, lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point , as the main cure, is adopted to treat talipes varus caused by cerebral infarction. A contrast study on CSS, Fugl-Meyer motor assessment scale is made to estimate the therapeutic effect of talipes varus, function of the lower limbs and walking ability.Results: Twirling, lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point can improve patients' talipes varus and make them walk steadily. The total effective rate in the treatment group is 91.43%,which is superior to that of regular therapy group. (P<0.05)Conclusion: Twirling, lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point is an effective therapy,which play an important role for the recovery of talipes varus and the improvement on walking and living ability.
