Clinical Observate On The Effect Of Twirling Lifting And Thrusting Needles Of Scalp Point With Hemiplegia Due To Cerebral Infarction

Object: To observate the therapeutic effect of twirling lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction.Methods: 68 patients with hemiplegia were equally randomized to two groups (observation group and control group).In the observation group, observation group with twirling lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point and in the control group with the route acupuncture therapy . Via the treat with statistics , in the degree of illness and general sititution , there is no outstanding difference between the two groups. Before and 1 month aftertreatment, the motor function and activity daily living (ADL) of allpatients in two groups were assessed with the Brief Fugl-Meyer LimbMotor Function Score (FMA) and Modified Barthel Index(MBI) respectively.Results: Before and 1 month after treatment,the FMA (Fugl-Meyer Assessment) scores in the treatment group were 34.76±13.28 and 89.61 ± 16.30, and 36.91 ± 15.00 and 76.06 ± 23.45 respectively (P<0.01, P<0.01) in the control group. The recovery of limb motor function in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and there was a significant difference between them(P<0.01). The MBI scores before and 1 month after treatment were 30.45±10.66 and 86.24 ± 25.23 in the treatment group,and 31.29 ± 9.45 and 64.00 ± 23.03 in the control group , respectively(P<0.01, P<0.01).The recovery of ADL in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P<0. 01).Conclusion: The therapeutic program that twirling lifting and thrusting needles of scalp point is superior to the route...
