With the rapid development of heart surgery home and abroad in recent ten years, the number of complicated heart surgery and re-operation is increasing. Except the poor heart function and general condition of a patient, pericardial adhesions are the main problems, combining heart, great vessels with close organization. Pericardial adhesions not only prolong the operation time, but also increase the danger of heart or the other mediastinum damage because the sternum should be opened. It is also reported that pericardial adhesions are one of the reasons for right ventricular failure, they even affect the fluency of the coronary artery bypass grafting after operation. The process of pericardial adhesions are very complex, including the damage of the mesothelial cells, loss of deliquescence mechanism, the movement and proliferation of many kinds of cells, participations of many kinds of growing factors and cell factors.
