Experimental Study On The Effect Of Weilingchongji On Telomerase In Rats With Precancerous Lesions Of Gastric Carcinoma

Objective: To observe the effect of WeiLingChongJi(WLCJ) on the gastric mucosa telomerase in rats model of precancerous lesions of gastric carcinoma (PLGC), and to explore the mechanism of WingLingChongJi in the treatment of PLGC.Methods: One hundred and twenty male Wistar rats are randomly divided into four groups: normal control group, model group, WLCJ treatment group and WeiMeiSu treatment group. Uses 100ug/ml the MNNG solution freely to drink, the oral administration joins 0.03% ranitidine's standard feed, the hunger full is abnormal and the absolute alcohol fills method, et al, rats except the normal control group make mold 26 weeks, executes the model group to observe the mold whether succeed, and remains the stomach specimen to be ready to use. After WLCJ and WeiMeiSu treatment groups give the corresponding medicine to treat 12 weeks, each group executes, similarly remains the specimen, applies ELISA method to examine telomerase level and observes the histological change of gastric mucosa by light microscope.Results: Compared with the normal control group, the model group gastric mucosa telomerase level obviously increases, the pathological change of stomach organization is obvious (P<0.01). The telomerase level of WLCJ and WeiMeiSu treatment groups compared with the model group obviously decreases (P<0.01, P<0.05). Two treatment groups have statistics significance (P<0.05). Pathological changes of WLCJ treatment group compared with those in model group have distinctly improved(P<0.01).Conclusion: The gastric mucosa of PLGC rats content highlevel of telomerase. WLCJ may an effective suppression telomerase's activity, reduce its density, the reversal pathological change, it might be one of the mechanisms of WLCJ to treat PLGC effectively.Conclusion: The content of telomerase in gastric mucosa of PLGC rats obviously increases. WLCJ may effectively suppress telomerase's activities, reduce its density, reverse the pathological change, that might be one of the mechanisms of WLCJ to treat PLGC effectively.
