| Objective: To study the effects of WeiLing I Powder (WLP) on apoptosis gene in precancerous lesions of gastric carcinoma (PLGC) of rat, and to explore the mechanism of WingLing I Powder in the treatment of PLGC.Methods: In animal experiment, the total of 120 rats were randomly divided into the normal group, the model group, the Chinese Traditional Medicine group and Western medicine contrast group. The groups except normal group were induced by MNNG and irregular diet in wistar rats for 26 weeks. After the PLGC models were ascertain, the rats were treated by WLP and Vitacoenzyme Tablets in 12 weeks. Change in expression of Bcl-2 in slices of precancerous morbid tissues of gastric mucosa were measured by immuohistochemistry after treatment and observes the histological change of gastric mucosa by light microscope.Results: The results of Bcl-2 showed that in Chinese herbal group expressions decreased remarkably, significantly different than that in other groups (P<0.05). Pathological changes of WLP treatment group compared with model group have distinctly improved(P< 0.05).Conclusion: WeiLing I Powder has the effect of and has better reversing function in proliferation of morbid cells before gastric cancer.
