In recent years, activity broadcasting industry develops vigorously, more and more of our attention was attracted by the effects from it. International activity broadcasting industry has been spread as a sunrise industry with the features of high investment, high profit, short cycle and high-impact. And it has driven the rapid development of advertising industry, catering industry, the financial sector. At the same time, visual identity design for activity developed unknowingly along with the appearance of branding design and economic development. Until now, the visual identity design for activities in all over the world develops virally. The developed countries of Europe and the United States on activity broadcasting industry cause the design developed in high-speed, in our country that still in a learn and imitate stage. So, it can not meet the urgent need of our economic development. It's time to establish new theories and methods.Thematic activities in the world was classified detailed, there have been a classic brand-based activities to promote and packaging. For example:the World Horticultural Exposition, the World Science and Technology Fair, etc. They all have a perfect system of the visual identity design and branding packages. However, there are a great number of similar activities. How to establish a unique identity, it is necessary to define the visual image from the thematic style, geographic elements, characteristics of the times, and so many other ways. At the same time, thematic activities always have large-scale, complex projects. So, it needs to focus on the entirety, and create a entire image through packaging visual details unity.Visual identity design for the thematic activities is that making use of dimensional visual media, graphics and text to convey the information about activities, In fact, it is the same as advertising and packaging in visual communication design. They are all aimed at conveying information. Formally, the visual identity of the thematic activities for a modern design has joined the three-dimensional shape and multi-media forms. In this paper, I extract the way about how to establish a unique and entire visual image through analyzing the graphic elements and summarizing them with professional knowledge of visual communication design which I am good at. As well as expounded the Integration trend of thematic activities in visual identity design from multi-angle, multi-dimensional point of view. Eventually I verified that establishing the identity system of the thematic activities is good for the packaging and promotion of activities. I hope it's an effective reference system for designers.
