Studies On The Phonetic System Of Longgang Dialect

Longgang dialect is a common language of Longgang village. People often call it as"?jen2phja?n3"or"tho3wa6".It belongs to the southern dialect of Zhuang.With the guide of the theories of phonetics, phonology and contrast linguistic, the author described the properities of phonetic system of Longgang dialect basing on the first-hand materials.Besides, the author does the research by the method combining description and explanation, diachronic and synchronic. Then, with the comparison of phonetic system among Longgang dialect, standard language of Zhuang and Proto-Tai language,the author exposes the regular properties of Longgang dialect.This paper is composed of six parts:In the first part, the author gives a brief introduction to the geography and history of Longgang, and he shows us the purpose and the meaning of his study. At the same part, the trains of though, the methods of study, as well as the origins of the material are included.In the second part, the system of the initial of a syllable, the final of a syllable, and tone in Longgang dialect and standard language of Zhuang are described.From part three to part five, the author focuses on the properties of the phonetic system of Longgang dialect from the initial and the final of a syllable, as well as tone separately.The last part shows some worth phonetic phenomenon in Longgang dialect. Then the author points out the emphasis of the study on the Longgang dialect in the future.
