There are many cultural archaeological relics in the time span of the distribution of our country, these great sites as heritage, with high scientific, historical and artistic value. They are not only the typical representative glorious civilization in five thousand years in China and an important physical example which the witnessed of the development human material and cultural. Meanwhile, it is also a very unique environment, landscape and tourism resources to regional economic and cultural development. They must be reasonable and effective display in order to give full play to the relics of the role of cultural transmission and science education. In China, the development and utilize of relics attach much importance to protection and put little emphasis on display, logo design is the gap in relics show. How to effective, orderly, showing great site, and research throughout the guidance system has a positive significance. This paper studies the object-oriented logo design of showing the great sites. Research the effectiveness of identification and directional signs to guide by Semiotics and communication studies and through the display of the more mature domestic typical large site for field research. Analysis and research the identity of its design and set-oriented conduct which shows the common problems of directional signs of great site in our country. These issues and methods will be solute. Also summarizes the great ruins design principles which should be identified and should have a new contemporary time and applied to the practice-oriented logo design. It achieves its goal of historical and cultural communication with fully integrated service.Typical cases were researched and analyzed which combined with a rich array of directional signs pictures. Tally up the great site logo design-oriented principles and methods as well as in the contemporary era should have characteristics which related research results were applied to a large site to the design of directional signs.
