A Study On Chinese Localization Of Literary Collage

Firstly, literature collage was a writing skills transplanting from painting collage, and then attracted the attention in domestic academic circle, as one of the characteristics of post-modern fictions. With the evolution of academic trends, literature collage has three different stages in China's translation and acceptance.Each stage has a key of acceptance, which is as a modernist literature writing skill, as a postmodern literature narrative strategy, and as a postmodern cultural phenomenon. On this basis, the domestic scholars discuss on literature collage, and the formation of theoretical discourse can be classified into two paradigms. One is Chinese interpretation and application, the other is post-modern interpretation and application. However, from surreal to super-era, from representation embedded to narrative strategies, from the absence of identity to life consciousness writing, localization discourse has both value and deficiencies. The key of reflection on the Chinese literary collage lies in how to view the following characteristics of literature collage triggered by localization:real, form and thing-like quality. Combining the post-modernity of literature collage and revolutionary character given by history, three characteristics should derive three groups of propositions on literature collage, which are real and fictional, form and concept, things-like quality and semblance quality. The expansion of the above propositions only provides several cognitive dimensions for the localization of literature collage and cannot be a verdict. Instead, we may view it by other multiple horizons.
