This paper introduces the Research status of Chinese words teaching in the secondary schools of international schools in Chia.In this essay, an overlook of the past and present of the study on words teaching in TCSOL has been made, especially the interpretation of the new words in textbooks. This essay also made a brief introduction on the present study of secondary students in international school, and the textbooks they are using.This essay is mainly aim at the study on errors in secondary students of international school, and the TCSOL in secondary international schools. In this essay the study on the model of interpretation of new words in TCSOL textbooks, the problems and how they affect the studies in TCSOL were made. The errors caused by the impropriate interpretation were put into different groups, and the way of solving these problems are also being discussed.
