Auxiliary Words In Complement Structure

There is a prominent feature in Chinese grammar,that is,particles is one of the most important methods to show a special grammatical relationship.In this thesis, I will conclude some auxiliary words in Chinese complement structure.Though amout of language data, we found that "de" "ge" "dege"and "tage"are the auxiliary words in complement structure.These auxiliary words show different semantic relationship and have colorful pragmatic effect.Except "de",other auxiliary words are not ordinary marker of complements structure.The passage differ synchronic research and diachronic research.Synchronic research:Firstly I research the relationship between particles and the complement structures:give many measures to differ the object and complement.complement is the focus of my paper.And then I analysis the feature of "V" and the grammatical relationship between "V" and "VP".At the same time I define the "ge"and"ta". Secondly I analysis these these auxiliary words from phonology standpoint,using the concepts of Foot and the formula of prominent. Thirdly,I research these auxiliary words from semantics and pragmatics."ge""ta" "tage"is different with "de"from semantics and pragmatics. ."ge""ta""tage"is more subjective and contain the speaker's emotions and often use in the spoken languages.I also analysis the language's subjectivity of these auxiliary words from the cognitive account.and conclude that "ge""tage""ta"are the ways to express the subjective qualitity in Chinese. Diachronic research:though researching these auxiliary words in complement structures,I induce the reasons of grammaticalization---the change of sentential position,the semantic bleaching,the contextual impact.The semantic bleaching is a foundation on which grammaticalization can start.The change of sentential structure also can cause the change of semantic change. What'more,the change of the semantic and sentential structure must happen in the circumstances of certain context.So contextual impact is another important element of grammaticalization.Furthermore,paper research the usage of these auxiliary word in dialect,especially from southern dialects.
