Guilt Situation And Psychological Processes Of Junior High Middle School

Guilt is an unhappy feeling, with ashamed, unstable and blaming self, caused by thinking that we have done something wrong and made something bad happen or somebody hurt. According to the review, the situations of guilt for junior high school students are companion situations, academic situations, rule situations, and family situations; and psychological processes are orderly result-evaluation, self-evaluation, behavior attribution, then the guilt produce, which lead to compensation tendency, all of which interrelate with each other. In this research, we collect situations with open questionnaire in a junior high school, and then analyze the situation features with content analysis technique, by which prepare the guilt questionnaire to conduct the group test to explore the Characteristics and interrelations of guilt and the psychological processes. The result shows that:(1) The guilt situations of junior high school students are mainly companion situations, other situations come very close; and the differences of situations among the grades exist, and the gender difference exists as well;(2) Psychological processes has situation difference, gender difference, and grade difference;(3) The assuming psychological process relationship model has a good data fitting; the gender group models have some differences, the male model is the same with the overall model, but there two paths in the female model are insignificant, which show that the direct effect of result-evaluation to compensation tendency is insignificant, and self-evaluation to guilt as well, both of which are significant for the male model and the overall model.
