A nation's level of development of social productive forces reflects the level of scientific and technological development factly, we must develop the minority education in order to promote the development of national science and technology effectively. I make in-depth field investigation in Tujia national areas, The emphasis is on the Tong he Village. we get a thorough understanding about Tujia national areas on the current concept of basic education, management systems, teachers, students, curriculum and other aspects.In this paper, field surveys focused on the current social status of primary school teachers, teaching methods, teaching management system at Tujia national areas. We use of literature review, case interviews, participant observation, comparative law method of analysis and reflection, The findings are as follows: First, after the People's Republic of China was founded, Under the strong leadership of the Party and the government, Tujia national areas of education has made great achievements, especially after the reform and the open policy, the education of Tujia national area is developing rapidly, promoted Tujia national regional economic development effectively. However, there are still many problems due to a weak basis in the area of education and low starting point compared with developed areas problems. Second, low social status of teachers of primary school in Tujia national led to the "teaching heart" instability, inadequate investment in education funding has seriously hindered the development of primary education of Tujia national areas, seriously affecting the Tujia national area teachers and the stability of the overall quality seriously, Restricting the current development of education in Tujia national areas. Third, the current major teaching methods in Primary Schools in Tujia national areas still Man Tangguan, Man Tangwen. this teaching methods killed the student's creativity. Fourth, the power of school leaders lack of supervision and balances.this system not conducive to recruit people of talent, it is prone to cronyism, bribery and other corruption. Therefore, the processes of primary schools in Tujia national areas should be gradually approach the election system and appointment system. Fifth, the management of primary education, primary lack of effective, standardized, orderly, scientific and effective management, which affected and restricted areas of contemporary Tujia national the development of primary education seriously.
