The subjects of this study are early, middle and senior Central Asian students from XinJiang Normal University,the investigation tools include student background questionnaire,Chinese Reading Anxiety Scale, as well as the reasons for anxiety questionnaire. In addition,I study the Chinese reading anxiety of Central Asian students through a variety of research methods such as a long-term observation and interview in order to ensure a more reliable and scientific research result.The paper including three parts,conduct the overall situation of Chinese reading anxiety of Central Asia students as well as the situation of different anxiety group. What'more, this paper analyses the Chinese reading anxiety situation of Central Asian students in early,middle and advanced stages. At the same time, this paper analyses the cause of Central Asian students in Chinese reading anxiety from different angles.Address their actual situation, this paper proposed several measures to reduce the reading anxiety of Central Asian students .The results show that: Chinese reading anxiety of Central Asian students is prevalent. The reading anxiety level of Central Asian students is minimum at the aspect of negative evaluation and examinations,while in the text materials, the difficulty of Chinese words as well as their own level of anxiety on the highest degree of self-confidence. Low-anxiety group, to a maximum of primary students in Central Asia; high-anxiety group, the medium most students; in the medium anxiety group, the most students in an advanced stage. In addition, three stages of the Central Asian students have different situations. Been studied in the Central Asian students, the anxiety level of females slightly higher than boys, holding extrinsic motivation of Central Asia students hold anxiety slightly higher than the intrinsic motivation of students. Learning content, classroom activities, students learn from their own bad habits most likely to lead to the Central Asian students in reading anxiety; cultural conflict, language testing, classroom communication and competition of the Central Asian students are least likely to cause anxiety in reading. Based on the results of this study, this paper proposes measures to reduce reading anxiety of Central Asia students ,including to help students lay a solid basic knowledge of Chinese language,to enable students to access to effective learning methods and establish a correct idea,to enable students to learn to use effective reading strategies, to help students expand extra-curricular knowledge,focus on the teaching behavior of teachers, create a positive emotional classroom environment, reasonably select reading materials.
