The prep "Wang" is an A-grade word in "Program of Chinese Proficiency Glossary And Chinese Character Rank". The non-native learners of Chinese frequently ask some questions about the prep. "Wang". For example, "Why can't say 'Reng wang di shang' while 'Fei Wang Beijing' is correct", "Why'Wang Ta Zou Qu' can't be changed to 'Chao Ta Zou Qu'", and "Why we can't say 'Fei Wang Guang Ming' instead of 'Fei Xiang Guang Ming', and so on. But there is no ready-made answer in the former grammar work, reference work as well as teaching materials. This paper utilized comparison, semantic characteristic and transformation analysis to conduct the research, proposed new view, tried to explain these questions one by one.The first chapter, exordium part to advance questionsThe second chapter, to explain why can't say "Reng Wang Di Shang", and to discuss the disciplinarian of " V+WangNp". Analyzes the difference between the "'Wang' Np + V" and "V + 'Wang' Np" in the two aspects: V and Np. Concludes that the structure of "V + 'Wang' Np" was restricted by several facts: "V" must be [+ persistence], [+ displacement]; in addition, Np must be locative nouns in form and semantically refers to destinations; Finally, to analysis from the cognitive aspect.The third chapter, to answer why the "Chao Ta Zou Qu" can't be exchanged by "Wang Ta Zou Qu" and discuss the difference in usage between "Wang" and "Chao". This chapter systemically analyzed and classified the usage of "Chao" from V and Np, discussed whether "Chao" can be replaced by "Wang" sort by sort and difference caused by transform. It was pointed that "Wang" can't replace "Chao" in the following conditions: When V is [+ outspread displacement], [+ static persistence] and doesn't use in "-V" or "V + tendency verb" etc. structure ; in addition, when Np is personal or character noun otherwise, when it indicates the direction that the action is toward.The next chapter, to solve the problem why we can't say "Fei Wang Guang Ming" instead of "Fei Xiang Guang Ming" and discuss differences in usage between "Wang" and "Xiang". This chapter researches on the two structures " Xiang Np + V" and "V + Xiang + Np" in the two aspects of V and Np and points the semantical differences.The fifth chapter is the epilogue. Sums up the similarities and differences of the usage among "Wang", "Chao" and "Xiang"...
