Study Of Korean-Chinese Cooperation On Cultural Industry

With acceleration of globalization, culture in the development of anation and the international competitiveness is playing an increasing role.Tendency of cultural industrialization is more and more apparent.Governments of various countries are attaching growing importance tothis. Development of cultural industry in a big way will be the directionof development of all the countries over the world in the future.First of all, this article has done a comparative analysis of thecurrent situation of Korean – Chinese cultural industrializationdevelopment and summarized different characteristics of cultural industrydevelopment of the two countries. At the same time, the author has alsoconducted analysis of cultural exchange and cultural industrialization ofthe two sides in theory and in practice since the establishment ofdiplomatic relations between Korea and China 14 years ago. The numberof people in the cultural exchange between the two sides has increasedand the content of the cultural exchange has been enriched continuously.A situation has been formed, in which cultural exchange has been carriedout by the governments taking the lead and in multi-level, multi-channeland different ways. The level and the quality of cultural exchange havealso been raised. Although Korean-Chinese cooperation on culturalindustry has just started and remained in a developing stage, the Koreanand Chinese Governments and the enterprises are working for long-termcooperation for the future by making use of superiority of the two sides,attracting technology, making use of the experience from others andseeking cooperation.In order to further probe into the prospect of Korean-Chinesecooperation on cultural industry, through serious analysis of geologicalvicinity, similarities in history and culture between Korea and China,great importance attached by the governments of the two countries,strengthening of interactions between the two peoples and rapiddevelopment of information of science and technology, etc., the authorhas come to the conclusion that the development of culturalindustrialization between Korea and China has solid cooperativefoundation and potentiality. In cultural industrialization, the two countriescan establish multiple-level complementary cooperation.Yet in this article, the author has also used a great number of data toanalyze challenges faced by the two sides. For example, impact ofEuropean and American world cultural industry powers, perfection ofcultural industrialization policies of Korea and China, problem ofstrengthening copy right system in China, all constitute obstacles ofcultural industry cooperation between Korea and China. The author hasalso enlisted counter-measures to overcome these problems. If the twosides can strengthen cultural industry contact by raising exchange level,further perfect concerned policies, correctly solve intellectual propertyright related problems and combine Korean technology and talents withChina's huge market and rich cultural recourse, the two countries willrealize combination in cultural industry, so as to form a cultural industryto contend with European and American cultural industry. Then Koreanand Chinese cooperation on cultural industry will have a broad horizonand bright prospect for development.
