The Study On Interpretive Difference Between Tangyun And Guangyun

Tangyun( 《唐韵》 )and Guangyun 《广韵》) all belong to the series of the book of Qieyun . They are not only books on rhymes, but also have plenty of explanations. The thesis mainly states the interpretive differences between two books, the author wholly and systematically analyzes these differences from the following two aspects.Firstly, based on the systematical comparison between Tangyun(唐韵) of the edition of Jiangcang(蒋藏) and Guangyun(广韵) of that of Zecuntang(泽存堂), the thesis classifies these different materials from the following three aspects. Different explanations have the same meanings, different explanations have different meanings and different books have different number of meaning items. Secondly, the reasons which cause these differences are analyzed by comparing them with Guxun Huizuan (《故训汇纂》) , other rhyme books and ancient Chinese dictionaries. From the compilatory aspect, the books are compiled by different people. Different compiler selects materials from different ancient books. To the same material, they manage it in different ways. In the course of their compilation, some errors such as the error addition meaning items, dismembering Lianmianzi (联锦字) , the misunderstanding of Zitou (字头) and the error changes of the meaning are all existed in different level. Besides, from the scribal aspect, some mistakes are caused by clerical errors, they are classified according to the theory of Jiaokanxue (校勒学) , Such as the mistaken words, the miscoping, the missing words, the upside words and so on. The author also illustrates them singly.In a word, the thesis systematically compares the different explanations between Tangyun《唐韵 》)and Guangyuni.《广韵》. order that it can provide some valuable materials for the study of Xunguxue (训诂学) and the history of Xunguxue (训诂学) . Besides, it has important value for the study of lexics and the arrangement of ancient books.
