An Initial Study On The Art Course Of Hong Kong's Musician Barbara Fei

Hong Kong's music is developing itself up to now, the musical culture has taken the most important position in subculture here. For the Hong Kong people, their receptiveness and expression to the art of music becomes more intensive and stronger day by day. Taking Professor Barbara Fei personal career in musical study and musical undertaking as a miniature, the thesis mainly uses a series of facts studying deeply the professor's musical learning, application (it indicates her musical performance), education and popularization from many aspects and angels to prove her outstanding contribution in the fields of Hong Kong's music, musical education and social public welfare in the past many years. Besides that, the paper discusses how Chinese music in Hong Kong marching to internationalization in the future through the analysis to symphonizing and westernization of the Chinese music. Therefore, from the viewpoint of development, the author makes an overrali survey of the musical progress in Hong Kong in recent years and the influence on the development of Hong Kong's art of music made by a group of Hong Kong musical educators and talents represented by Master Barbara Fei and her 'Allegro Singers'. For this reason ,the author has an excellent prospect to the development of Hong Kong's music in the future.The thesis includes five parts of foreword and concluding remarks etc.. The foreword is a comprehensive introduction in terms of research motive, purpose, current situation, methods and data collection. Then, the following three chapters unfold the discussion in line with the subject to be studied and solve the problem put forward.
