Compendium of the Turkic Dialects (Diwan Luγat at-Türk) is an encyclopedic dictionary which was compiled by Mahmud al-Kashγari in eleventh century. This is not only the first most important source in Turkic historical linguistics, but also a vital source for Central Asian history and ethnography, and a unique example of Islamic linguistic culture. The unique manuscript that we currently have was copied from the author's autograph by a person called Muhammad ibn abi Bakr ibn l-Fath of Save ,then of Damascus 190 yeas after the completion of the Diwan, however the copist made numerous scribal errors in the course of copying. The modern Uighur translation of Compendium of the Turkic Dialects (Diwan Luγat at-Türk) was published by Xinjiang People's Publishing House in three volumes (1981-1984). The translation of Uighur edition of Diwan was based primarily on the facsimily of manuscript and fully absorbed the merits of Turkish and Uzbek translation of Diwan. Because these scribal errors already existed in the manuscript and Turkish edition, when it was translated into Uighur these errors made their way into the Uighur edition of Diwan, And the translation of Chinese edition was mainly based on the Uighur edition of Diwan along with other editions such as facsimily of manuscript by Besim Atalay(Tipkisasim,1941), the Chinese edition of Diwan also includes these scribal errors. In my thesis I find out these mis-spelt words in the Chinese edition of Diwan through using Sir Gerard Clauson's"An Etymological Dictionary of Pre-thirteenth–Century Turkish"and some other related materials, and thoroughly analyzed each of theses words, and suggested corrected forms. Then I classified all these words as following: vowel only, confusion among other B,T,N,Y, confusion among other consonants, mis-spelt in the manuscript but corrected in the Chinese edition of Diwan.
