It is a new task to innovate the music course forundergraduate preschool education specialty. Based on a surveyon the actuality of music education in undergraduate preschooleducation specialty, this dissertation investigated andsummarized the important status of music course in preschooleducation specialty, students' qualities of music, and thecurrent status of music education in undergraduate education.This dissertation also analyzed the problems of music coursedesign in this area: the ambiguous curriculum goals,unreasonable course design, serious lack of teaching materials,isolation from reality, and simplified assessment method.According to the existing problems, this article set forth thecourse innovation ideas from five aspects: music course goals,music course design, music teaching materials, music teachingpractice, and music curriculum evaluation. To make it moreconcretely, it means: to re-establish the course objectivesaccording to the changed educational goals; to re-design thecourses, which contains both comprehensive compulsory coursesand individualized optional courses; to compile a series ofintegrated teaching materials in accordance with the courseoffered; as teaching method is mentioned, the author proposedto put the emphases of teaching on practicability,particularity, diversity, scientificity, and to attachimportance to practice; to implement the integrated curriculumevaluation from the aspects of both "teaching" and"learning".
