The Exploring Of Art Design Education

Currently, China is the largest country in design education. Also, art design is one of the hottest majors in China. There are 300 thousand students enrolled in universities annually. The amount of art students is over 1 million around the country, which is certainly NO.1 in the world. In recent years, more and more art design majors are set up in the multiversity and academy. It has good effect in opening the education market, cultivating specialized person, exploring design areas. Also, the development of art education and art industry can get benefits from it. It brings a big chance for the education development as well as great benefits. However, we should be conscious that for the particularity of design education, the majors'setting and development are not reasonable in some schools. As the art design education is not art creation, at the time we respect the characteristic of every individual, we should also follow the common principle and characteristic of education. It became really important to research the art education principle and majors setting, at the booming period of art design education. It especially needs the attention from the governments and the deep consideration from the art workers.Firstly, concept analysis. In this article, we analyzed the concept of art design, art design education and some other similar concepts in the history.Secondly, this article systemically expatiated the historical development of art design education in China. We deeply introduced the root of art design education in China---traditional relationship between master and prentice, the technic education in late Qin dynasty, the pattern education, technic education, and craft education in the time of republic of China. And the art design education in PRC in the period of reform and openness.Thirdly, the art design education abroad. This article compendiously talked about the art design education in Europe, America and Japan. Fourthly, the current situation and problem analysis in art design education. This article made an introduction and analysis to the general situation of art design education in China.Fifthly, analyze the survey in art design education. By large amount of survey from students and departments, the author analyzed the current situation and existed problems of art design education.Sixly, the author made a view of art design education for the future.
