The Research Of Porcelain's Manufacturing Crafts And Areas From Bei Periods To Sui Dynasty In Local Anyang Area Of Henan Province

It' s well known that porcelain originated from China, and people around the world have given highly praise to the consummate manufacturing techniques and centuries-old history of Chinese ancient porcelain. For a long time, the study on porcelain, especially on Chinese ancient porcelain, is always a main research aspect in Archaeometry field. Until now, innumerable papers of Chinese porcelain have been published. Based on these studies, Prof. Li Jiazhi incisively and synoptically summarized the plentiful scientific connotation and long history of Chinese ancient porcelain by "the three technical breakthroughs and five milestones in the evolution from pottery to porcelain".The successful firing of white porcelain is a great technological revolution and progress in the history of ancient Chinese ceramics. Not only its appearance has broken the celadon ware alone series world aspect, moreover established the technical and substance foundation for the highly development of colorful decorative porcelains, which emerged centuries later. Not only that, Our country white porcelain technology development and the dissemination has also had the huge influence to the world other place system porcelain industry development Therefore, the origin and the development of the white porcelain has become an important topic in our country and even a world ancient ceramic research.This work takes two kinds of chinaware in Henan Anyang area (Lingzhi kiln and Anyang kiln) as object for study. First, it has carried on the quota description, and then, in this foundation, using the chromaticity meter to different types of chinaware outward appearance in two kilns using stereoscope, microscope, polarizing microscope, energy chromatic dispersion X beam instruments, fluorescence spectroscope, heat expansion meter to analyze the different type chinaware microstructure, the chemical composition, the burn temperature and so on.The result indicated that, two kilns' porcelain glaze level are both characteristically thin. Simultaneously, Anyang kiln white enamel burn temperature is low, but Lingzhi kiln's some white unbaked porcelain glaze is pure and exquisitely white with a few color elements such as ferric oxide, etc. Some celadon wares white unbaked porcelain glaze with are hardly different, only put with a lay of tiny-pellet make-up earth between embryo and glaze. Make-up earth is composed of a few of deep color impurity detritus as well as not melted the crystal filings which may enhance the quality of white enamel.The different crafts of these white enamel reveal, at that time, kiln labors' attempts of selecting the embryo glaze raw material, of using make-up earth. The usage of thin glaze and low temperature both have caused the appearance of white enamel. But from different kilns, at different time of the identical kiln, the potters possibly tried different techniques to enhance chinaware' s color and the quality.
