The passive sentence is a kind of special Verb-Predicate sentence in Chinese. Its meaning and form are both complex. Because it has a lot of important characteristics comparing to foreign passive forms, it is hard for foreigners to master. Not only the number of mistakes they made is large, but also the types of mistakes are various. Meanwhile students who come from different countries are likely to make the same mistakes in some aspect.This thesis based on the analysis theory of mistakes, especially analysis the mistakes made by foreign students in leaning and using Chinese passive sentences. It generalizes the mistakes collected directly or indirectly, and classifies them into three types: mistakes on syntax, mistakes on semantic and mistakes on pragmatic. The thesis, through the illustration of positive and negative examples, analyses the mistakes in detail. The analysis reveals that the root of their various mistakes is that the students don't truly understand the grammar meaning of passive sentences. The last of part of the thesis disclose the main cause of mistakes, besides, it also suggests some measure to prevent them.
