Virtual Reality Display Application Design

In recent years, as developing of networks and multimedia technology, and continuous maturing and spreading of virtual reality technology, Virtual reality technology has been gradually applied to multimedia information display area. Virtual reality display design is accompanied by using virtual reality technology and related computer technology and it is a new subject of audio-visual design. It gets information to be displayed in new ways and forms by using computer virtual reality technology and integrating images, sound, animation, video and other multimedia tools. Through creating and performing of virtual objects and virtual space, information transmission gets more direct and effective. With peoples' understanding and concern on such a display technology, the application and development of virtual reality technology has become even more widely and rapidly.The thesis is researching on the realization and application of virtual reality display design, and describes the definition, features, manifestations and basic types of virtual reality display design. The thesis also discusses the design principles of virtual reality display and its practical significance for design dissemination. By analyzing its specific application in displays of commercial products, architectural environment and cultural heritage, the various values and significances of virtual reality display design have been discussed.
