Research On The Synonym System Of The Monosyllabic Notional Words In Shang Jun Book

Vocabulary research on specific books is the basic work of the ancient Chinese vocabulary research. Research on the synonyms of the old traditional Chinese is a hot issue nowadays. In view of this, this paper takes the late Warring States Legalists representative book "Shang Jun book" as the analysizing object, hoping that through the descriptions of the synonyms of the monosyllables, this paper can provide some research materials for the Chinese vocabulary as a whole.The research of synonyms in the case study is carried out in three steps: configuration group, a total of justice legislation, and distinguish the different meanings of the same. First, read the book to determine synonyms; and analyze the case objects and made some summarizations in justice, a total of justice legislation; then the differentiation word by word. Differentiation of the synonymous relations is the focus of the study, mainly on the differences based on common meaning of justice. This process involves three areas which need attention: the definition, defining method and analysis of synonyms. As for The definition of synonyms, we based our research on the theory of "-meaning the same," and proposed two prerequisites: at least one part of speech is the same and they have the same properties. As for the determination of synonyms, we based our study on the Song-pei theory. While briefly stating the development progress of the synonyms, this paper points out that "double prove" is effective. This is a method incorporating all the classic bibliography to analyze. Analysis methods are mainly based on the theory of Mr. Wangning and take "of the law" and "ju", and in line with the synonyms'binding ability manifested in the "Shang Jun" Book to analyze the synonymous differences.This paper consists of three parts:The first part: introduction, the main reason for choosing this topic and the present research on this area. At the same time, the paper put much more emphasis on the reason for choosing the "Shang Jun book" of which include "have not been Fenshu of robbery, Corpus true" and "no ancient Subcommentary, those who rule rather fresh." This research also did some analysis on the status quo and some vocabulary. The second part of"the Shang Jun" Book concerning the Monosyllabic Content Words'synonymous relations inspection is the main body. Papers here explain the rationale based on theory and methods and do some case study on the twenty groups of Monosyllabic Content Words, including 10 verbal groups, 5 adjective groups and 5 noun groups. Each category of words has different strong emphasis due to the characteristics of the words, the semantic features and the grammatical functions. Each category of words will be studied in the order of definition, explanation, conclusion and analysis trying avoiding the subjectivity.The third part of"the Shang Jun" is about the problems concerned and also the conclusion part. In this part, summarizations will be made on the overt forms of synonymous relationship. Tentative research will also be made on the influence of the semantic features upon the grammatical functions and the complex phrases.Combine with my own practise,talk ahout the thingking of ancient Chinese synonyms.
