The western colonialists invaded China and coveted Tibet from the late 19th and early 20th century. From that beginning, some Western scholars and politicians started to pay attention to China's Tibet's political status. They created different kinds of absurd theories, such as the so-called"Tibetan protectorate","suzerainty", and the"Tibetan autonomy". In the human rights statement of the British Government in 2000, the British government stated that,"the Republish of Britain is the only country which denies the Chinese sovereignty on Tibet."With the help and guidance of the Western country, the fourteenth Dalai Lama adjusts his strategy to pursue the autonomy of Tibet.The article is under the guidance of materialism, takes the historical method and international politics theory as the main theoretical foundations. Firstly, analysis the relations between Tibet and ancient China using the existing collected materials and achieves, and then explain the essential of the invasion behavior of the British and Russia. Finally, it is concluded that the UK tended to use the absurd theory of"suzerainty"to split Tibet from China. The objects of the dissertation are the explanation of origin of the"Tibetan suzerainty"and analysis the scenario of the Tibetan Issue and the history between Tibet and China, then disclose the behavior of abruption of the Dalai Lama and the Western anti-China strength.The objects of the dissertation are the historical relations between Tibet and China and the theory of"Tibetan Suzerainty"which based on huge amount of achieves. The main aim of the thesis is to denounce the fallacy of the American and western people who consist on the cold war ideology and intend to contain China.
