Objective: Vocational school students are in the special period of physical and mental development, and the influence of the stress life events is inevitable. So the discussion of influence on physical and mental health is very important. It can offer great help to the school workers who study students psychologically health. They can understand the stress faced by students in daily life. They can not only timely know the way and the existing problem that the students are dealing with conflicts, but also can avoid the injury caused by some major life events, such as parents divorce, child abuse, and family death. And they can provide the help promptly. This discussion also can provide the reference for the psychological consultation workers: to help the students who in great danger to cope with the problems successfully, to guide them to choose the correct way of stress coping , to develop the level of student mental health ,and to prevent the occurrence of mental disorders.Methods: In November 2007, we used the method lamination group sampling and respectively chose 240 students from grade 2005 and 220 students from grade 2006 in Heze health school. we also used the following methods: SCL-90(Symptom Checklist 90),ASLEC( Adolescent Self-rating life Events check-list), CPS(Coping Style Scale), EPQ(Eysenck Personality Questionnaire), SSRS(Social Support Rating Scale) ,and we also sent out 460 checklist and took all back. There were 426 valid checklists after audited, 91.74% of which are valid. All the materials were reorganized and coded, and all the data was quantified, then input into the computer .At last I statistically analyzed them using the method SPSS 13.Results1.The total stress value of life events is 43.23_+2..57.The highest frequency of incidents for the students in the specialized middle school is the employment pressure, followed by examination failure, misunderstanding among people, heavy burden of learning and disputes with others. The total value of stress of the students from grade one is higher than them from grade two , girl students >boy students ,urban students > rural students ,Students with non-complete family > studentswith complete family ,students with good academic record >students with bad,students with low level education parents>students with high level education parents (P<0.01). The average of stress value of the stress life events has remarkable differences in grade ,sex ,family types,academic records and parents eduction level.In the aspect of interpersonal relationship,studentsfrom Grade one >Grade two(p<0.05), irl students >boy students(p<0.05) ,students with low level education parents>students with high level education parents(p<0.01).In the aspect of learning pressure,students from Grade one>Grade two(p<0.01),girl students >boy students(p<0.05),students with noncomplete family>complete family(p<0.05),students with low level education parents>students with high level education parents(p<0.01). In the aspect of punishment ,students with bad academic record >students with good(p<0.05),students with noncomplete family>complete family(p<0.05.In the aspect of factors of of loses,students with noncomplete family>complete family(p<0.01) .In the aspect of health adaptation,students from Grade one>Grade two(p<0.01),girl students >boy students(p<0.05).In the other aspect,students with good academic record >students with bad(p<0.05).2. Compared with national norm, psychologically healthy condition of the students in the specialized middle schools has many problems.Expect the body factor, others are higher than the national norm. The differences in sensitivity, anxiety, terror and hostilitiesof interpersonal relationship ando bsessive-compulsive symptoms and psychosis are remarkable (p<0.01/0.05) .Making SCL-90 scores≥160 for the sector, we divide the students into Health Group and Control Group. Every factor of the life events in control group is much higher than it in health group,which has the statistics significance(p<0.01). The differences in the factors of social support ,ways of dealing with and EPQ also have the statistics significance (P<0.01).The correlative analysis indicated that the stressful life events have close relation with every facor of the psychologically health.3. MakingSCL-90 the dependent variable ,making the grade,sex ,living areas,family complete, academic records,parents education level the total stress value and every factor,the total score of SSRS and every facor,different ways of dealing with things and every factors of EPQ the independent variable,we carries on the multivariate linear regression analysis .Multivariate linear regression analysis shows that six factors are included in the formula. They are family completeness, avoidance, education of their parents, hostilities, subjective support and interpersonal relationships.Among them ,life events ,nervousness, interpersonal relationships ,autopunition have big influence on the psychologically health.Subjective support ,parents education levels and family completeness can positively promote the psychologically health.Conclusions:1. Stressful life events of the students in the specialized middle school mainly come from the pressure of employment, learning and interpersonal relationships. Both the total value of stress and the average value of each factor closely relate to grade, inhabited area, sex, family completeness, academic record, and parents' education level.2. Students in the specialized middle schools have many psychological problems. The high frequencies of stressful life events make the students have lower levels of mental health. The influence of stressful life events is also influenced by factors of psycho-social intermediary, such as personality, coping style and social support.3. Multivariate analysis shows that we can not ignore psychological and emotional reactions caused by the social and psychological factors. Schools should strengthen psychological counseling to students and develop varieties of positive activities, by which we can develop their ability to cope the negative life events and improve the level of mental health.
