With the competence to manage becoming the hot spots of the study on the area of psychology,the results of the study has gradually penetrated into practice of the development in human resources management.Competency-based human resources management,the competence model is the function of the management of human resources,which can promote the recruitment,selection,training,performance management and pay management and other work and enhance the competitiveness of organizations.With the research on the learning organization and Knowledge Worker continued to deepen,people increasingly pay more attention to the research in the context of universities.The institutions of higher learning as a social organization,Undertake the important task of personnel training,knowledge innovation and social services.Teacher resources are the first resources in the universities,and the overall quality of teachers has a significant impact on the survival and development of the universities. Therefore,competence-based human resource management thinking can be used to the area of universities,and there is important theoretical and practical significance on the establishment of teacher competence model of universities.In this study,which is based on competency theory,establishes the research framework and put forward a four-point hypothesis:1,College teacher competency model is multi-dimensional structure;2,College teacher competency model plays a significant role in forecasting the associated performance of university teachers;3,In the college teacher competency model,the psychological contract plays an intermediary role on teachers associated performance;4,The achievement motivation and the commitment to the ideal of university teachers,play the modulatory role in the mechanism of the college teacher competency model.In this study,methods and steps are as follows:1,Through conducting a questionnaire survey of a total of 10 teachers of 3 universities,as well as 30 undergraduate and graduate students,execute a preliminary exploration on the structure and characteristics of the university teachers Competency Model;2,Form the pre-test questionnaire,prerun 102 university teachers, amend the questionnaire and create a formal questionnaire;2,Conduct a questionnaire survey of 620 teachers of 6 universities.Use the software SPSS15.0 to carry out the exploratory factor analysis,regression testing and so on.Use the software LISREL8.70 to carry out the confirmatory factor analysis and test intermediary effect. Through empirical research,the conclusions are as follows:1,There are five dimensions of the structures in the college teacher competency model,they are:professional attitude, professional conduct,active personality,interpersonal interaction and achievement orientation;2, Parts of the dimension of the college teacher competency model play significant forecasting role on teachers associated performance;3,The psychological contract plays some intermediary role on the mechanism of the college teacher competency model;4,The commitment to the ideal play significant regulatory role on the influencing mechanisms of the college teacher competency model.
