There are a lot of Chinese-character-words in Korean language, especially homographs, which often cause mistakes and errors when South Korean students learn and use Chinese. Homographs in Chinese and Korean are born in different historical and cultural background of the two countries. There are two roles to discuss the forming of the Korean-Chinese-homographs: one hand, it can help Korean students to pay attention to the homographs and to understand the meaning of Chinese-character-words; on the other hand, it can complete Korean-Chinese-homographs researching and vocabulary teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, so that teachers can choose property method according to the specific condition.This thesis suggests these four points:First, Chinese character is introduced into Korean together with Chinese culture. Influenced by traditional and modern Korean culture, the meanings of Chinese-character-words is changed and divided into two series, which are ancient Chinese vocabulary and modern Chinese vocabulary. At the same time, the meaning and using of Chinese-character-words changed a lot in China. Therefore, Korean-Chinese-homographs emerged.Second, Korean-Chinese-homographs includes perfect homographs and imperfect homographs, the latter is more complicate. Our research suggests that, each Chinese-character-word in Korean language expresses one meaning, which is the fundamental meaning of Chinese Chinese-character-word.Third, different from ancient Chinese Chinese-character-word and Japanese Chinese-character-word, Korean Chinese-character-word is not the vernacular word in Korean, But owing to historical and social changes, and the impact of different cultural background, some Chinese-character-words' meanings changed or extended. In the paper, we choose some typical examples to explain the details described above. And in learning and teaching Chinese, combining various factors to analyze vocabulary will be better to understand and master the words.Forth, because of the homographs, Korean students always misunderstand the Chinese-character-words. They thought the meaning of Chinese-character-word is same in Korean and Chinese. So we should summarize this problem and do some research in it systematically, and we hope that this thesis can do some good for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
