In today's society, students suicide is an important reason of premature death. National Institute of Mental Health divided suicidal behavior into suicidal ideation, suicide attempts and suicide. Suicide ideation is a early mental activity of suicide attempt and suicide death, experience of suicidal behavior is motivated by chance, individual cranky or intend to commit suicide, but not taken to achieve this purpose or for the foreign overt, it is free factor of suicide attempt. Study the factors related to suicide ideation, and to take some measures to prevent the emergence of suicidal ideation, can be effective in reducing frequent suicidal behavior in college students in current status.Previous studies found that a certain degree of suicidal behavior closely related to the level of depression and social support. In this paper, author drawing on the experience of previous studies to explore the relationship of suicidal ideation and the level of social support and depression. Study hypothesized that students have different level at social support and depression in gender, profession, grade, only-child or non-child and students from.Therefore, this study attempts to understand the situation of students of suicidal ideation, students of depression and social support and to explore the relationship between these .Mainly questionnaire was used.This survey is used Xia Chao yun prepared for China's national conditions such as suicidal ideas Checklist(SDSS).Depression of the survey is used by Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale. The study used the Xiao shui yuan social support rating scale. The main research subjects are Southern Jilin University students and Changchun College Academy of Medicine students. Questionnaire Uniform released, guidance for standard English, On-site recycling. Issued a total of 310 points questionnaires, then screening a total of 268 valid questionnaires .Recovery rate was 86.45%.Statistical methods is basic statistical analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis .Test the level of social support and depression in gender, profession ,grade only-child or non-child and Students from different. college students Suicidal ideation differences in depression level and social support. Re-analysis of suicidal ideation and depression levels and the correlation between social support, And then do a regression analysis.The results showed (1) Students social support significantly different in gender, profession, grade, only-child or non-child and students from. For reasons of data,using structural equation models do not do out of relationship of suicide ideation and depression, social support and level.From the perspective of this study, college students have considered the rate of suicidal ideation is not small, should arouse the concern of the whole society. Prevention of suicide and suicidal ideation is a social system, needs of individuals, families, schools and the community to work together. On a personal level many students have problems to seek outside help, that reading books on mental health, do efforts to change their bad character, become well adapted to the external environment, to prevent yourself in depression. The college students main sources is support or families, but also determines the character of students. Therefore, the parents or the school should pay more attention to children's mental health, and give them to create a healthy environment for the development, when encounter difficulties, should fully give support and care. Improve students social support can mitigate the appearance rate of suicidal ideation. Schools should give students engage in more mental health programs and activities. Teachers should pay more attention to "problem" students, give them psychological help and guidance. When they become difficulties ,he is a strong, no longer a fragile man.So to prevent the emergence of suicidal ideation is common to the entire community, to reduce the level of depression of university students, enhancing their social support, thus less the emergence of suicidal ideation rate, reduce the appearance of suicidal behavior.
