E-commerce is a new speciality in Secondary Vocational Schools. As globalization is inevitable and accelerating, English teaching becomes more and more important to the development of E-commerce major. Whether the choice of English curriculum model is suitable will influence the improvement of learner's competence in English. However, currently, there are not adequate research achievements on the curriculum model of English for E-commerce major in Secondary Vocational Schools. Therefore, this dissertation studies the curriculum model of English for E-commerce major on the basis of the school's actual situation, trying to improve learners'capacity and teaching effect of E-commerce major for the school.The dissertation combines theoretical research with empirical study. Based on the study of teaching effect in new curriculum model of English for E-commerce major in Secondary Vocational Schools, the suitable English curriculum model is put forward in the school.This dissertation consists of six parts. The first part is introduction; which presents the research subject, clarity its objectives, its practical value, and innovative points. The second part is the relative theoretical exploration of curriculum model in vocational and technical schools and the chracteristics of curriculum model of English courses in Secondary Vocational Schools. The third part is the detail description of new curriculum model in English. The fourth part is the research design. At first, the purpose of the survey and its objects are discussed. Then a questionnaire and an interview syllabus are designed. The fifth part is outcome of the statistical analysis on the survey and contrast of tests. The sixth part is the conclusions.However, curriculum model covers a wide concept thus resulted to less research material on English curriculum model for Secondary Vocational Schools, limited samples of survey objects, and for English actual teaching situation. Further on curriculum model of English for E-commerce major in Secondary Vocational Schools should be discussed profoundly in the future.
