Study On The Human Settlement Of The Typical Ancient City In Southwest Mountainous Region

Study on the human settlement of the typical ancient city in southwest mountainous region, which is the important part of "Study on the theory and adaptive Methods of Urben Planning in Southwest Mountainous Region" supported by national fund chaired by Pro. Zhao Wanmin. It selected five most representative ancient city——Fenghuang,Dali,Lijiang,Langzhong,Zhenyuan,in-depth analysis its unique history and evolution of Human Settlements. The purpose is to explore environmental protection and development of the ancient cities and other cities in southwest mountainous region under the context of contemporary urban development, and to provide a theoretical reference and practice guide. This paper studies Hunan Fenghuang. Fenghuang is the Western regional towns. Town rounds hills and the ancient Tuojiang , which still remains a large number of heritage sites such as ancient temples, ancient castles, ancient houses, ancient city walls, ancient buildings, ancient stone streets and ancient Diaojiao. "In spirit" created "outstanding personality".Since Ming and Qing Dynasties, Fenghuang can be said on behalf of the talented people,as Tian Xingshu, ZhenGuohong, Xiong Xiling, Chen Quzhen, Shen Congwen, Huang Yongyu, Xiao Jimei,and so on . Around the ancient city is also has the Tang Dynasty Stone City—Huang Siqiao ancient city , Ming and Qing Miao wall—the South Great Wall and Miao Village in ancient customs. In 2002, Fenghuang was announced as the 101 national historical and cultural cities, which brought the rapid development of the tourism industry in Fenghuang. Now , Fenghuang has equally famous to Pingyao and Lijiang ancient city . Under this contradiction, author try proposed the systematic study on the human settlement of the ancient city, summarized the ancient city's unique human settlement, historical and cultural city of Fenghuang to the protection and development of traditional organic reference, also make a typical example for the southwest mountain region research.This article based on the theoretical framework by the Sciences of Human Settlements, following the regional concept-inhabited view-cluster view-architecture view to reseach.First of all, the thesis standing regional perspective to the study of Miao Territory range, reseach the relationship and cross-impact between the ancient city and region,Which laid the framework of regional background.settlements to the city-level environmental study. Secondly, for the human settlement of Fenghuang, the thesis through the habitation pattern, cluster space, architectural form and human history, analys the specificity in the the interpretation of the ancient city ,the overall pattern of urban design , building forms and cultural composition characteristics. On the basis of the material level, the thesis further explore the cultural and historical factors behind, and focus on the the interaction and influence between the various parts and the human settlement system.Chapter VII as the nexus of key sections reseaching the unique human settlement of the ancient city'. Author summarized the four major refining, which are precisely the essence of human settlement of Fenghuang, and also the urben features in development .Finally, Author through the work about protection and development in Fenghuang, current problems and the experience of foreign cities , oriented the protection and development ideas. At the same time, from the view of the government, developers and residents , author standing on the perspective of the protection and development of human settlements, put forward specific planning integrated strategy. and to plan integration as the means, forms the focus of habitat protection and development, including structure and morphology of cluster space protection and development, historic buildings and the surrounding environment and the protection and renewal of a unique city .
