Evaluation And Countermeasure On Sustainable Utilization Of The Cultivated Land Resources

From the point of sustainable development, this paper analyses the background and state of the cultivated land resources in China, and the pressure faced with the sustainable use of the cultivated land resources in China, it puts forward the important position and effect of the cultivated land resources in national economy and social development. Based on the sustainability evaluation of the cultivated land index system, it puts forward the countermeasures for realize the sustainable use of the cultivated land resources in China. That is to keep the equilibrium in quantity of the cultivated land resources. In order to attain sustainable development of the cultivated land resources, as far as agricultural land is concerned, maintenance and utilization must be done in a combined way to improve the yields of cultivated land firstly. Furthermore, the cultivated land resources must be comprehensively used, and the agricultural structure must be readjusted. Second, urban land must be intensively utilized, the town and township enterprises and the villages must be rationally planned and distributed, and so on.
