Under the trend of globalization, and with the improvement of technology, the formal organization model of simple unit or alliance can not satisfy the development of new economy. Outsourcing Innovation (01) is regarded as a valuable strategic asset, and more and more companies begin to incorporate 01 into their overall business strategy.However, while 01 is gaining wider acceptance, almost no research has been studied concerning what is applicable method for using the strategy. Therefore this paper advanced a strategic approach for companies to implement Outsourcing Innovation.First, after expatiating the internal principle of 01 from classical economics and management theory, the author analyses the advantage and disadvantage of actualizing 01.Second, the author studies three basic model of 01 -- 'center depended', 'cores together' and 'intergrowth network'. Then based on the evaluation and comparison of inside and outside competences, and combined qualitative with quantitative research, the author advances applicable approach to put 01 into practice.Third, the author discusses several management tactics of 01, including the improvement and protection of core competence, the establishment of learning organization, and the relationship with partner. With these, companies can use the strategy of 01 effectively and obtain permanent competing advantage.
