Be obvious to ali, there has great change in railway transportation in recent years. Last year (2001) is the first year of Tenth five-year-planning, which projects to establish a national high-speed passenger transport railway network, through continued three steps of speed-up in five years. As the same time in 2001, with the reformation and development of Chinese railway industn/, the market competition of freight wagon became more and more fierce. More than twenty factories, which manufacture railway freight wagon, have broke away from the policy protection of Ministry of Railway, and headed for market. On the existing market of freight vvagon variety, supply is greater than demand and production capacity surpluses. The railway transportation market also faces an unprecedented competition. The existing eguipment on railway rolling stocks, backward in technical property and with a single variety, could not meet the reguirement of high speed and heavy load.Chengdu Freight Wagon Factory, with rich manufacturing and maintaining experiences, is the large-scale factory, which manufactures railway freight wagon and freight engine in China. Already turned deficits into surpluses, with the enforcement of raising speed strategy of railway cargo transportation and quickness of technique renew, CFWF's operating system is now facing great challenge of market opening. Its preferred status on "鎜re" product will also face big threaten.
