| Industrial structure transformation is interacted with economic growth by means of mutual dependence and promotion. As we know, under certain circumstances, one nation's industrial structure transformation is the foundation of its economic growth and the cardinal factor that promotes the economic growth. Different speed of the economic growth calls for different demand on the industrial structure. The economic growth will lead to the industrial structure alternation accordingly. The process of modern economic growth is actually the process that the economic growth and the industrial structure transformation influence on each other as well as connect with each other. Foreign experts have made an abundance researches in the field as to the impact of the industrial structure transformation on the economic growth. Chapter I sets forth the relationship between economic increasing and industrial structure transformation. On this subject, there existed two absolute opinions. The traditional economic increasing theory considered that the economic growth is attributed to capital accumulation, labour increase and technology progress on the condition that the competition is equilibrium. But modern economic growth theory argued that economic growth is one aspect of structure alteration and in general structure transformation is on the condition of non-equilibrium. Therefore, transformation of labour and capital from lower productivity sectors to higher productivity sectors is essential for today's economic growth. At first, chapter I definites industrial structure and describes its features. Then it discusses the relationship between economic increasing and industrial structure coordination, and makes a historical review of the coordination thoughts. Chapter II turns to analyze on the interaction mechanism among relative economic variables. Firstly, it describes the effect on economic growth both with qualitative analysis and with quantitative analysis.
