In this case, the author described the background of the Guangdong Agricultural Means of Production Company, reviewed the process that the company has set up its distribution system, market surrounding, the management situation, and some problems appeared during that period. In the part of case analysis, the author applied the theories of the competitive power model of Michael E. Porter, SWOT model, value chain and so on analyzing the case and discussed how the company should improve its existing distribution system. The author pointed out that the company, as a circulating service enterprise, would attain new competitive advantage by differentiating its logistics service while the company has transformed from monopoly business to market economy. Though the Company has much improved its sale channel, it has not attained the obviously competitive advantage yet because of the lack of support from a good logistics system. To solve such problems in the logistics system as the poor stock management, the backward information system, as well as low specialization division, the author think that the company should, firstly, integrate its logistics system by setting up the advanced information system, locating scientifically, improving inventory management, reducing the links of the logistics, and speeding up response to the need of client. Secondly, by the specialization division of marketing and logistics, the company would raise the degree of logistics specialization and efficiency. Thirdly, by the way of union, the company can achieve the integration of supply chain to enhance competitive advantage.
