New century brings about new opportunities together with new challenges for enterprises. With the rapid race of globalization, firms all around the world are exposed to fierce competition from both home and abroad. Man is the most vigorous and creative factor for enterprises, which makes HR management a big concern for managers. Performance evaluation, on which many other functions are based, is the most important part of HR management, and its basic purpose is to make its employees continuingly develop, providing the fundamental force to push the enterprise forward.HB BANK going through more than a century with excellent tracks, one reason is "the fast and excellent service" that it always promised to its customers. Though a sound going evaluation system has been already established in HB Bank, there are still some new problems to be solved. That's why this case analysis is forwarded. In the first part, the author introduced the background and history of HB Bank, and the experience of performance evaluation of its TC TEAM. Based on both related theory and the case, the author gave a thoroughly study of HB Bank's performance evaluation system, pointing out those activities within the system that was not well designed, and giving some suggestions on its improvement.Most of all, the author wish that this article can shed some light on HB Bank's performance evaluation system as to improvement on criteria setting and feedback channel making, and to make it a more efficient and useful system.
