Polyethylene is the general polyresin with the largest consume in the world, which can be used in diversified fields of national economy. As the main resin product of the largest output in the Ethylene Plant of Guangzhou Petrochemical Complex (abb. GPC), its marketing plays an important role in the marketing of all the plastic products of GPC. On the basis of substantial relevant information about the demand and supply of polyethylene home and abroad and the main segments .in domestic market, this paragraph analyzes the market environment which GPC is in, dissects the present marketing pattern, makes the strategic positioning for this product from the point of both short and long terms, and in the end puts forward a series of marketing mix strategy.
