Base on the theory of enterprise management and the experience of working in an exhibition company, the author analyses the strategic management elements of Guangzhou Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF) and put forward its development strategy. The paper is composed of 6 parts as follows:Part 1: As the preface, it clarifies the importance of strategy management for CECF.Part 2: Analysis is conducted about the industry construction of exhibitions and an introduction is given to the new development of exhibitions in China.Part 3: CECF present situation is analyzed. It shows CECF's status, strong points and weak points.Part 4: Strategic analysis of CECF. Besides the situational analysis of CECF, this part applies SWOT methods to analyze the general situation of CECF comprehensively.Part 5: To Ascertain the strategic plan and enforcing content of CECF.Part 6: To effectively achieve the strategy goal, the author emphasizes the following five points: paying attention to marketing management, improving the modern information construction, scientific management, optimizing management mechanism and make progress in human resources management.Part 7: Concluding remarks.
