After the Cold war, peace and development became two principle themes of the present world. The realization of Korean peninsula reunification will be not only beneficial to the stability and prosperous of both the North and the South, but also to the security and development of the whole Northeast Asia region. It is shared dream of people all over the world who love peace. The special location makes Korean peninsula be effected by the resultant force in the field of Northeast Asia international relationships. The peaceful reunifying of Korean peninsula not only depends on the joint efforts of two parties of North and South, but also depends on the cooperation and promotion of boundary powers. History and reality showed that the big power factor including America, Japan, Russia and China effected through the peninsula reunification process. If both the North and the South trust each other, strength cooperation, harmonize their relationships with big powers and promote the big powers effect actively and positively in the reunification process, the peaceful reunification in Korean peninsula can come true earlier.This essay tries to solve problems as follows: the relationship between the origin of Korean peninsula peaceful reunification and big powers factor;after the Cold war, how did big powers including America, Japan, Russia and China show their influence during the peninsula peace process;how did the joint effort effect the reunification process;prospect of peaceful reunification in Korean peninsula which is influenced by the big powers factor.The chief part of this essay is divided into four chapters: the 1st chapter introduces that the Korean peninsula reunification problem resulted from big powers' actions;the 2 nd chapter expounds the big four powers' benefit and policies in Korean peninsula ,meanwhile, explains the separate status and effect of each power during the reunification process;the 3rd chapter analyzes big powers' joint effort;the 4th chapter points out prospect of peaceful reunification in Korean peninsula which is influenced by the big powers factor...
