One of the keys is transforming the surplus rural labor force to solve the problems facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers. So, there are many to study the shifting of the surplus rural labor force. But they almost analyze it from political, economic and geographical point of view, seldom from educational outlook. In fact, education is critical role in the process of transformation, and there are intimate link between education and difficulty in transforming rural labor force .For example, there is so trivial that may neglect the policy or system striction, but owing to the diathesis themselves, transformation is hard to the surplus rural labor force, and the relation is obvious between diathesis and education, especial the rural education from the NEW EAR and the making of rural labor force;. Some peasants having entered cities or town become bad men, and education has no responsibility?Education is an important implement in developing human resource, so is rural education. Many people have known the function of vocational education and adult education in the transformation of surplus rural labor force, but lack of adequate realization to the value of elementary education. Now, the investment in elementary education is scarce and educational quality is poor, especially in the countryside; the vocational & technical schools in the country arelack of students; adult education has name but none in reality. Whether the peasants don't need education or the other causes? The research paper analyze education that results difficulty in transfer the surplus rural labor force, take some countermeasures (enforce the teachers training, reform the fundamental, vocational and adult education in the countryside, etc.), hope to advance successive transformation of rural labor force and toe the scratch in solving the problems facing agriculture, rural areas and farmers.Now, introducing the main contents of the paper in brief:The first part is about forewords, including the objects, contents and aims of the study; defining the path, method and basic conception about the study; also, summarizing the correlation researching papers.The second part analyze the relationship between the rural education and the transformation of surplus rural labor force, and point out that the rural education is very important in transformation of surplus rural labor force.The third part analyze the existing problems in the rural education, and point out that these problems restrict transformation of surplus rural labor force.The fourth part put forward some measures to improve the rural education, and hope to attain the goal of pushing transformation of surplus rural labor force.
