| This article mainly deals with the problems encountered in the product development in large/medium-sized industrial enterprises in Heilongjiang province, starting with the studying of product innovation related theory, analyses the essential situations for product development in large and medium sized enterprises in this province. Based on system element analysis, the product development evaluation model is established, and evaluations and analysis was made on product development status of 70 large and medium sized industrial enterprises. Successful modes on eight aspects of the product development in the enterprises are concluded, and the law for product development is revealed. Based on these facts, this article makes the suggestions and countermeasures that carries Heilongjiang province large and medium-sized industrial enterprise product development fonvard, offers scientific basis and reference for decision and the management of product development.
