With the rapid development of new technology in the late 20th c entury, enterprises have witnessed great changes in t heir circumstances. Under the background, how to gain a steady long-term survival and development is becoming an increasing concern of kinds of enterprises. In front of the more complex, more organic enterprise system, the traditional enterprise management theories and approaches have gradually faded in solving current enterprise competition. In 1990's, the Business Processing Reengineering(BPR) theory put forward by Michael Hammer was once recognized as the revolution of current management science, however, the practical experiences in several years has made Michael Hammer himself acknowledge the success rate was less than 20% and that enterprise management is facing a new dilemma. This paper makes some innovative research on enterprise ecology evaluation, the key issue of enterprise management, on the basis of "Enterprise Ecology and Enterprise Management" theory illustrated by my tutor Prof. Liang Jiahua. The innovative research of this paper including:1. Makes a summary to the present outcomes of enterprise ecology theory researching;2. Makes a critical analysis to traditional enterprise evaluation thinking and methods;3. Puts forward the basic theory and method in enterprise ecology evaluation based on the intra-environment stability and extra-environment adaptability;4. Makes a framework of enterprises ecology evaluation indexes;5. Introduces the BP artificial neural network theory to the evaluation of enterprise ecology;6. Makes a simulation analysis with BP artificial neural network method.
