The wood and bamboo floor (this thesis brief name wood floor) industry in our country is full of hope like the rising sun in the morning, and it has large developing many potential, existing many opportunities. But now our wood floor industry is somewhat disorder and still developing many problems exist It took the SD Wooden Product Corporation Limited (SD) five years to develop and to make the quality of its products be equal to that of foreign one. How to grasp chances, solve difficulties so that to develop is a great challenge for the SD's policymakers. Through the practice at the SD Wooden Product Corporation Limited, the author made a detailed investigation about it and try to establish its five years development strategy to solve the problems with theoretical analysisand practical analysis, etc.This thesis includes eight parts. At the beginning, this thesis summarizes die strategic plan theory, the strategy fit for the environment theory, the industry organization theory and the resources foundation and core competence theory. It is the basis of strategy programming. The second is part of brief introduction SD. The third is part of analysis the macroscopic environment, industry environment. Four-part cent, proceed the analysis to the internal situation hi company. The fifth part, aim at the company current opportunity, threat for facing and the company's advantage, disadvantages for having. Based on the analyses mentioned above, we can use the 3-Stage Theory to establish the SD's next 5 years development strategy through by a lot of methods newly, such as the EFE, the IFE, the SWOT, the GE, the IE, and the QSPM. The sixth is part of, according to above analysis and evaluation to put forward the SD's 5 years development strategy as theconcentrated development strategy. The seventh part, under the guide of this strategy, we carry out the sub-strategies for the SB's production, marketing, human resource, research, and finance through the balance scorecard. In addition, we also make out a new structure of organization that is suitable for the strategy. The last part, introduce in brief how to ensure the SD's next 5 years development strategy out of control.From the point of strategic management, this thesis gives a systematic research and analysis in present situation and strategic environment of SD's. After the comprehensive analysis, studying and evaluation, we choose the concentrated development as our strategy, and decide to gain the competitive advantages through exploiting the market, enlarge the scale of production and educate continuously the core competence.
